SALISBURY, N.C. -- Catawba took wins over Frostburg State in men's and women's swimming action on Friday afternoon at Johnson Pool. The Catawba men picked up a 134.5 to 123.5 victory, while the women claimed a 192.5 to 61.5 win.

The women took the top spot in all 14 events on Friday. Gabi Moll led the way, taking wins in three individual events; the 100 and 200 breast and the 200 IM. Ash Fortin, Jolina Frank and Marit Reckmann each won two events.

The Catawba men claimed wins in 10 of the 14 events. Alejandro Alvarez, Rodrigo Yus Fernandez and Ofek Malul each won a pair of swims. Alvarez won the 200 free and 200 IM, while Yus Fernandez was first in the 100 back and 200 back. Malul won the 100 free and tied with teammate Zach Hannah in the 50 free.

Catawba swims again on Saturday at Emory & Henry at noon.
