Wingate, N.C. —- The Catawba College men's and women's swimming teams fell in Friday night South Atlantic Conference dual meet action at Wingate. The men fell by the final 179-83, while the women came up short 150.5-111.5.

1000 Yard Freestyle
- Ella Gutenwik and Fiona Byrne went 1-2 in the 1000 Free; Gutenwik posted a 10:29.69
100 Yard Breaststroke
- Maks Minichowski earned the event win in the 100 Breast with a time of 55.47
50 Yard Freestyle
- Marit Reckmann bested the top Bulldog competitor in the 50 Free with a 24.00 mark
100 Yard Freestyle
- Minichowski followed up with a win in the 100 Free with a time of 44.81
200 Yard Breaststroke
- Gabi Moll earned a win in the 200 Breast with a time of 2:22.35
500 Yard Freestyle
- Gutenwik earned her second win of the afternoon in the 500 Free with a mark of 5:09.13
200 Yard IM
- Sydney McKenzie logged a first-place finish in the 200 Yard IM with a 2:06.50
200 Yard Freestyle Relay
- Catawba's relay team of Reckmann, Marleen Plachetka, Brinkley Watson and Sydney Peterson bested the Bulldog relay team with a 1:36.72 time
- The men made it a sweep of the 200 Free relays to finish the night, as Minichowski, Ryan Case, Juan Diego Celis and Ivo Cruz posted a 1:23.26
