Women's Cross Country matches best national finish in program history at DII National Championships

Sacramento, Calif. —- The Catawba College women's cross country team matched a program-record finish at the NCAA Division II National Championships in soggy Sacramento on Saturday, placing 21st out of 34 participating teams.

Madi Clay was the top Catawba finisher with a mark of 21:36.8, good for a 48th-place finish, her second straight top-50 placing at the National Championships. Hannah Caudill finished next for the Catawba Indians, placing 65th with a mark of 21:47.2.
