Salisbury, N.C. —- The Catawba College beach volleyball team kicked off their 2024 campaign with a pair of 5-0 sweeps over Sandhills Community College and Wake Tech at the Catawba Beach Courts Tuesday afternoon.

- Jada Whittal and Ragan Ball came back from a set one loss to win 20-22, 21-13, 15-8
- Katie Willingham and Megan Halford swept in straight sets 21-13, 21-14
- Christina Knotts and Morgan Childress continued the winning ways with a 21-11, 21-13 victory
- JJ Quarrels and Kennedy Kimbro won their match 21-8, 21-11
- Hayes Smith and Savanna Corrales finished off the clean sweep with a 21-18, 21-8 win

- Smith and Corrales earned a 21-4, 21-7 win to kick off match two
- Knotts and Childress carried on with 21-7, 21-10 win
- Whittal and Ball won their match 21-14, 21-8
- Quarrels and Kimbro clinched a 21-11, 21-9 win
- Willingham and Calkins made it a 10-0 day for the Catawba Indians with a 21-10, 21-16 victory
