Geneva, Ohio —- Catawba College freshman Maks Minichowski earned Second Team All-America honors in the 200 Freestyle at Day Three of the NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships at the Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio. Minichowski shattered the school record in the 200 Free.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Minichowski climbed 20 spots from his seed time in the 200 Free prelims, breaking the school record with a 1:36.09 time, good for ninth overall in the preliminary round
- He followed it up with a 1:37.81 effort in the finals, placing him 16th, which secured All-America status for the freshman
