Salisbury, N.C. —- The nationally ranked Catawba College men's and women's tennis teams celebrated Senior Day at the Johnson Tennis Center with a pair of victories over visiting Anderson University on Friday afternoon. The Catawba men improve to 11-6 overall and 10-1 in South Atlantic Conference play, while the women move to 12-6 overall and 7-4 in SAC action.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Anna Wise and Ami Miya earned a 6-2 win in #2 doubles action
- Rin Igarashi and Sofia Hernandez Mera clinched the doubles point with a 6-2 victory in #3 doubles action
- Miya made it 2-for-2 with a 6-3, 6-4 victory in #1 singles
- Wise did the same with a 6-3, 7-6 win in #2 singles
- Mati Moretti clinched the Catawba win with a 6-2, 6-2 win in #3 singles
- Isidora Zivkovic picked up a win on her Senior Day with a 6-0, 6-1 victory
- Veronika Poliakova did the same with a 7-5, 6-3 win in #6 singles action

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The nationally ranked doubles team of Edoardo Cecere and Ryan Little kept rolling with a 6-1 win in #1 doubles
- Mateo Berne and Marcos Castares clinched the doubles point with a 7-5 victory
- Tyler Juergens and Paul Dekester made it a clean sweep with a 7-5 win
- Cecere continued his great form with a 6-1, 6-3 win in #1 singles
- Berne followed suit with a 6-4, 6-2 victory
- Little picked up his second win of the day with a 5-7, 6-1, 1-0 win in a three-set thriller
- Taketoski Nanao added a Senior Day win, 6-3, 6-2
