Salisbury, N.C. -- The Catawba College Men's and Women's Swimming teams bring in 16 newcomers to the program, head coach Matthew Gearing announced Wednesday afternoon.
"We could not be more excited to welcome these 16 athletes to our Catawba Swimming family!," Gearing said. "It is only fitting that the largest incoming class the program has ever seen is coming together to join the largest team in program history. These 16 athletes come from 10 different countries helping bring our total to 17 countries represented on our team this year, we truly have a team that looks like the world. We are excited to get the season started and see what we can accomplish together, as one!"
