Charlotte, N.C. — The 19th-ranked Catawba Cross Country team competed at the Royals Challenge hosted by Queens University of Charlotte on Friday at McAlpine Park.
Madi Clay was the top collegiate finisher with a time of 17:15.79, ahead of two Northern Michigan runners.
Hannah Caudill finished just behind those two Wildcats with a mark of 17:28.22.
Natalie Almond was the third Catawba Indian to place in the top ten, finishing eighth with a time of 17:37.10.
