DAHLONEGA, Ga. — The Catawba College women's golf team closed Monday action at the LeeAnn Noble Invitational in 14th place, led by Mary-Paige King's career-best second round.
The South Atlantic Conference is currently one-two as Anderson (562, -14) leads second-place Wingate by eight shots. The Trojans' Aly Francis (135, -9) and Olivia Pellerin (136, -8) top the individual leaderboard.

HIGHLIGHTS
- King, in addition to setting her career-low round of 68, recorded the second-best round in Catawba history to climb into the Top 20 at day's end
- Waddell followed up her impressive season opener at the Eckerd Invitational with another pair of rounds in the 70s, highlighted by a three-over-par 75 in the morning
- Buxton's best round as a Catawba Indian came in the first round as she eagled Hole No. 6 en route to a one-over 73
- Carlson and Kristinsdottir turned in opening-round scores of 77 and 78, respectively, before enduring a tough Round 2 to complete the Catawba lineup
