Kingsport, Tenn. — The seventh-ranked Catawba College women's swimming team rolled to a pair of wins at the Kingsport Aquatic Center, home of the 2026 South Atlantic Conference Swimming Championships, over Milligan and Roanoke on Saturday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
200-Yard Medley Relay
- Eniko Onofer, Sydney McKenzie, Sydney Peterson and Marit Reckmann kicked the day off with a win in the 200 Medley Relay with a mark of 1:44.86
1000-Yard Freestyle
- Danielle Meinema cruised to a win in the 1000 Free by over 22 seconds, touching the wall in 10:33.41
200-Yard Freestyle
- Ella Gutenwik was victorious in the 200 Free, posting a mark of 1:54.46
50-Yard Freestyle
- Eszter Pajor beat out teammate Peterson for the heat win in the 50 Free with a time of 24.13
200-Yard Individual Medley
- McKenzie picked up a four-second win in the 200 IM with a 2:08.25 effort
100-Yard Butterfly
- Onofer added another win in the 100 Fly with a mark of 55.70
100-Yard Freestyle
- Reckmann nearly cleared the rest of the field by two seconds in the 100 Free, posting a time of 51.67
100-Yard Backstroke
- Pajor clocked in a 58.06 in the 100 Back to pace the field
500-Yard Freestyle
- Fiona Byrne touched the wall first in the 500 Free, recording a time of 5:12.78
200-Yard Freestyle Relay
- Onofer, Reckmann, Pajor and Plachetka picked up another Catawba relay win in the 200 Free Relay, marking a 1:35.70 time
