Conway, S.C. —- The Catawba College beach volleyball team fell in a pair of matches at Coastal Carolina on Wednesday, both by 5-0 scores.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Match One | Coastal Carolina 5, Catawba 0

- Ragan Ball and Taylor Vecchione put up the most fight in their match, falling 16-21, 12-21

- Hayes Smith and Riannel Arevalo also reached double digits in their first outing, dropping their match 12-21, 14-21

Match Two | Coastal Carolina 5, Catawba 0

- Sidney Kettelkamp and Brooke Vauaghan battled tough, falling 15-21, 10-21 in #5s in match two

- Ball and Vecchione again fell in a hard-fought match in #4s, falling 11-21, 14-21

- Smith and Arevalo reached double digits in both sets, falling 14-21, 10-21
