Anderson, S.C. —-- The 12th-ranked Catawba College men's tennis team improved to 10-0 in South Atlantic Conference play on Tuesday, rolling to a 4-0 road win over Anderson.
HOW IT HAPPENED
DOUBLES
- Luca Bergonzi and Agustin Mastri rolled to a 6-1 victory in #1 doubles action
- Mateo Berne and Sebastian Zabala clinched the doubles point with a 6-4 victory over the third-ranked Trojan doubles team
SINGLES
- Thomas Kostka kept up his undefeated play in singles play with a 6-4, 6-1 win
- Bergonzi made it a 2-0 afternoon with a 6-4, 6-1 victory over the 4th-ranked single opponent from Anderson
- Ryosuke Inagawa helped clinch the match with a 7-5, 7-6 victory at #5s
- Mastri won the opening set 6-0 and was tied 6-6 in the second set when the clinch point was reached
