Wise, Va. —- After nine days off from game action, the 9th-ranked Catawba Men's Tennis team returned to play with a 4-1 win at UVA Wise in South Atlantic Conference action.
HOW IT HAPPENED
DOUBLES
- Santiago Passoni and Alen Bill won the #2s doubles match in a tiebreak 7-6 (7-5), but the Cavaliers would go on to win the doubles point
SINGLES
- Ryosuke Inagawa earned a 6-2, 6-1 win at #5 singles
- Agustin Mastri picked up a quick 6-4, 6-1 victory at the top-ranked singles match
- Luca Bergonzi bounced back from an opening set loss to win the final two 6-3, 6-2 at the 4th-ranked singles match
- Passoni won 6-3, 5-7, 6-4 at #2s to help clinch the match
