Anderson, S.C. — The Catawba College softball team saw its losing streak extend to six games on Tuesday when it fell in both ends of a doubleheader at Anderson in South Atlantic Conference action.

FIRST INNING
- Flynn singled and stole second to lead off game two
- Monroe walked and stole second to put two runners in scoring position with nobody out
- Gallagher's two-run double put Catawba ahead 2-0
THIRD INNING
- Monroe walked and moved to second on a wild pitch
- Altiers' one-out RBI single to center field extended the Catawba Indians' lead to three
- Carson Hobbs' two-run homer in the bottom half cut AU's deficit to a single run
FOURTH INNING
- Two singles and a sac bunt moved two Trojans to scoring position in the fourth
- Maness' RBI groundout tied the game at 3
FIFTH INNING
- Kadence Barrick gave Anderson the lead with a two-run single in the fifth
SIXTH INNING
- Altiers doubled to lead off the sixth inning
- Prescott's sac fly scored Pressley to bring Catawba within a run
- The Trojans' leadoff triple in the bottom half allowed them to add an insurance score on Kara Davis' RBI single through the right side
