Salisbury, N.C. — The 12th-ranked Catawba College men's tennis team defeated 22nd-ranked Wingate in a matchup of the final two undefeated teams in South Atlantic Conference play at the Johnson Tennis Center on Thursday.

DOUBLES
- Luca Bergonzi and Agustin Mastri earned a quick 6-1 win at #1 doubles
- Alen Bill and Santiago Passoni clinched the doubles point with a 6-4 win at #2s in the winner-take-all match in doubles play
SINGLES
- Mastri rolled to a 6-1, 6-1 win over Wingate's nationally ranked #1 singles player
- Mateo Berne earned a 6-4, 6-1 win at #3s
- Ryosuke Inagawa clinched the match with a 7-5, 1-6, 6-1 victory at #5s
