Catawba College

Greg Brown enters his first season as Pitching Coach for Catawba College in the spring of 2024.

In his first season, Brown instructed SAC Pitcher of the Year Payne Stolsworth and led a pitching staff that led the conference in team ERA. In large part due to their pitching staff, the 2024 Catawba Indians claimed the SAC regular season title and the program's fourth Southeast regional title.

Brown spent the 2023 season as a Graduate Assistant Pitching Coach after a four-year career with the program spanning from 2018-22. 

As a player, Brown was a two-time All-South Atlantic Conference starting pitcher, earning First Team honors as a senior in 2022 and a selection to the Second Team in 2021. In 2022, Brown led the pitching staff with five wins, 86.2 innings pitched and 87 strikeouts, recording a 3.53 ERA and a 1.22 WHIP. Brown ranks top 20 in Catawba program history with 35 career starts.
