Mincey joined the Catawba College Athletics Department in November 2025 as the Assistant Athletic Director for Creative Services. She recently was promoted to the Associate Athletic Director of Athletic Communications and Creative services in August of 2026.

In her role, Mincey oversees athletic communications and creative services for the department, including branding, graphic design, photography, videography, social media, digital content and storytelling. She works with Catawba's athletic programs to develop engaging content that highlights student-athletes and teams while strengthening the department's overall brand and fan experience.

Mincey joined Catawba after serving as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications at Davidson College since July 2023. During her time at Davidson, she served as the primary communications contact for women's soccer, women's basketball, women's lacrosse, wrestling and men's and women's tennis while assisting with communications efforts across all 21 varsity sports. She also helped produce more than 200 ESPN+ broadcasts and 100 CBS broadcasts in roles including camera operator, producer, director and XPression operator.

Prior to Davidson, Mincey served as an Athletic Communications Graduate Assistant at Slippery Rock University from 2021-23. She worked with four NCAA Division II programs, supervised student game-day staff, produced written and digital content, assisted with more than 100 video broadcasts and served as a play-by-play announcer for several sports. She also helped secure three College Sports Communicators Academic All-America awards for Slippery Rock student-athletes.

Mincey began her career in sports media as a producer for the PAC Sports Network, where she produced more than 60 collegiate athletic events and worked in live production, game-day graphics and video editing.

A 2020 graduate of Slippery Rock University, Mincey earned a bachelor's degree in sport management with a minor in communications. She earned her master's degree in park and resource conservation management from Slippery Rock in 2023.
