Kyle Grice begins his third year at Catawba College and second year as Assistant Athletic Director for Communications in fall 2026.

Grice's duties include editing CatawbaAthletics.com, developing game notes and programs, updating social media, managing statistics, maintaining rosters and bios, and archiving historical data. Since joining the Catawba College athletic communications office, Grice has seen four works earn recognition in the College Sports Communicators Creative & Digital Design Contest; the 2025 football poster ranked fourth in the College Division and third in Division II. He also assisted with broadcasting efforts during two NCAA Division II Southeast Regionals at Newman Park, filling analyst and producer roles in 2025 and 2026, respectively.

Grice was hired as Assistant Director of Athletic Communications at Catawba in summer 2024, becoming the office's first full-time assistant SID. The appointment was a homecoming for the Concord, N.C., native following a stint in New England. He was promoted to his current role in August 2025.

Before coming to Salisbury, Grice spent two years as a graduate assistant at Vermont State University Castleton in the Division III department's athletic communications office. During his time in the Green Mountain State, Grice served as the primary contact for 15 varsity sports while designing graphic templates, game programs, media guides and game notes. He also played a key role in statistical operations and management of the Spartans' athletic website.

As an undergraduate at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Grice worked in the 49ers' athletic media relations office for four years including three in an internship capacity. He developed proficiency of the SIDEARM Sports CMS and statistical software programs, serving as primary stat inputter for football and basketball as a senior. During summer 2021, he interned with Charlotte Football as a graphic designer, mainly supporting recruiting operations for the Division I FBS program.

Grice earned his bachelor's degree in marketing from Charlotte in 2022 and obtained his MBA with a concentration in media and communication from VTSU Castleton in 2024.
