Catawba College

Zach Davis was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for External Operations in August 2026 to begin his fourth year at Catawba College.

Davis' primary duties include corporate sponsorship management, fan engagement, game day promotions, group ticket sales and community outreach. He also oversees development and operation of Catawba Chaos, the department's student-led spirit group, by creating content for its Instagram page and boosting campus participation to curate a top-notch game day environment. Davis works in tandem with Athletic Communications as well as the Office of Advancement to assist in alumni relations and fundraising efforts.

In three years as Assistant AD for Marketing and Fan Engagement at Catawba, Davis led marketing initiatives with campus-wide communication and handling of community partnerships. He coordinated game day themes and activations centered around fundraising initiatives, special events and local businesses. Davis helped orchestrate successful game day promotions such as season kickoffs, youth nights and cancer awareness.

Before arriving in Salisbury, Davis spent two years as Assistant General Manager for the High Point-Thomasville HiToms of the Coastal Plain League.

Davis graduated with his bachelor's degree from Gardner-Webb University in 2019 and earned his master's degree in 2023.
