AIKEN, S.C. -- Montevallo rallied for two second-half goals to top Catawba 2-1 in men's soccer action on Wednesday afternoon at Pacer Pit on the campus of USC Aiken. The Falcons, ranked 15th in NCAA II, improve to 12-2-2. The Catawba Indians fall to 7-6-2. The loss marks the fifth 2-1 loss by the Indians this season.

Catawba opened the scoring in the first half. Malik Wilkes chipped a ball into the far post in the 26th minute. Tom Savigar had the assist.

The Falcons equalized early in the second half. Julio Rojo tallied in the 50th minute on an assist from Narcis Bou Dalmau. Rojo assisted on the winning goal four minutes later, helping on the goal from Nemanja Acimovic.

Zak Stiffler collected four saves for Catawba. Salvador Plaza made one save for Montevallo. The Falcons held a 12-9 edge in shots and an 8-1 advantage in corner kicks.

Catawba travels to Tusculum on Saturday, facing the Pioneers at 4:30 p.m.
