Pembroke, N.C. —- The 18th-ranked UNC Pembroke Brave utilized a 10-run sixth inning to come from behind and run away from the Catawba College baseball team on Wednesday night, prevailing by a final score of 15-6. The Braves improve to 11-3 overall, while Catawba drops to 9-6 on the season.

Levi Perrell recorded a pair of hits and scored twice, while Blake Marsh had a two-RBI single and stole a base and Cameron Mills had an RBI triple.

Jake Bradley homered in the second inning for UNCP, but Catawba answered back with three of their own in the third after Drew Robertson scored on an error and Dylan Driver and Perrell scored on Marsh's two-out, two-RBI single to give Catawba the lead. Perrell added another run in the fifth on a wild pitch.

The Braves turned a 4-2 deficit into a 12-4 lead in the sixth inning alone, as they took control. Mills' RBI triple in the seventh added one back for Catawba, but Kody O'Connor's three-run homer in the bottom half sealed the deal for UNCP. Logan Rogers scored Mills on an RBI single in the game's final inning.
