Hartsville, S.C. —- The third-ranked Catawba College women's soccer team scored three times in the opening 45 minutes and cruised the rest of the way to a road win at Coker, improving to a perfect 4-0 in South Atlantic Conference play Wednesday afternoon.

- Bree Ehmer netted the game-winner
- Zoey Conrad scored and added a game-high four shots on goal
- Kylie Morin also found the back of the net
- Helen Summerell, Hannah Dunn and Madison Henry dished out assists
- Ashley Hughes and Allison Fredrick combined for the shutout
HOW IT HAPPENED
FIRST HALF
- Coker earned the first corner kick of the match in the seventh minute
- Ehmer netted her fifth goal of the year in the 13th minute off the Summerell assist
- Dunn put a shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the shot was saved
- Morin scored off a Dunn assist across the box, as Catawba doubled their lead in the 33rd minute
- Conrad scored just minutes before the half to take a 3-0 lead into the halftime break
SECOND HALF
- Catawba earned two corner kicks early, but could not cash in
- The Catawba Indians got three shots on goal in the second half as they protected their lead
- The nation's third-ranked team kept its opponent from putting a shot on goal for the third time this season en route to their eight straight victory to start the season
