Salisbury, N.C. —- The Catawba College men's lacrosse team concluded its season at Shuford Stadium on Wednesday afternoon, falling to the visiting 2nd-ranked Lenoir-Rhyne Bears in South Atlantic Conference men's lacrosse action.
TEAM STATISTICS
- Lenoir-Rhyne out-shot Catawba 46-37
- The Bears recorded 31 shots on goal to the Catawba Indians' 19
- LR had 44 ground balls to 22 for Catawba
- Both teams committed 16 turnovers

HOW IT HAPPENED
FIRST QUARTER
- Leonard scored off an assist from Carson Adkins within the opening minute to take an early lead
- The Bears scored the final seven goals of the first quarter to take a lead after 15 minutes
SECOND QUARTER
- Lenoir-Rhyne's lead grew to 9-1 after a score near the 5-minute mark
- Stout found the back of the net off of Cetrone's feed with 2:10 remaining in the half
- The Bears struck again in the final minute to lead 10-2 at the break
THIRD QUARTER
- LR scored the first three goals of the second half to lead 13-2
- Simi responded with a goal at the 8:16 mark
- The Bears led 16-3 after three quarters
FOURTH QUARTER
- LR had the first three scores of the final period, leading 19-3
- Stout added another score off the assist from Peyton Turner
- Cetrone scored late off the Caleb Richardson feed in the final minute
