Conway, S.C. —- The Catawba College Beach Volleyball Team (9-15) was in action for the final time this season at the Catawba Beach Courts on Friday night, taking down the Gaston College Rhinos by a score of 4-1 on Senior Night 

HOW IT HAPPENED 

-  Christina Knotts and Morgan Childress earned the win on the No. 1 Court as they took down Naomi Hilliard and Maddie Dearing in two sets, 21-12 and 21-13 

- Ragan Ball and Katie Willingham would be defeated on Court No. 2 by Valentina Rodriguez and Cristina Rotola, 21-16 and 21-10 

- Brooklyn Calkins and JJ Quarrelsrolled to a win in the No. 3 position, taking down Milica Gavric and Bianca Bowland first in a 21-13 opening set and then in a 21-15 second frame 

- Jada Whittal and Kennedy Kimbro cruised to victory on Court No. 4, taking a 21-8 victory over Carli Phillips and Cameryn Reavis in the first set before clinching the point with a 21-14 second set 

- Lauren Shepherd, Catawba's lone senior, and Megan Halfordrolled to victory on Court No. 5 as they downed Leilani Nolasco and Olivia Ceballos 21-13 and 21-11
