STATESBORO, Ga. — The Catawba College men's golf team sits in 10th place through Monday's 36 rounds of action at the Bash in the Boro.
Host Georgia Southern paces the pack by eight shots, shooting 555 (-21) with two golfers in the top three headlined by individual co-leader Edouard Cereto at 136 (-8). Campbell, Jacksonville State and Richmond have under-par team scores as Appalachian State made par to stand fifth.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Competing as an individual, Carter sank eagles in both rounds to card 73-69 and position himself inside the Top 15 with one round to play
- Esnault shaved eight shots off his opening round to post a three-under-par 69 in the afternoon for his lowest 18-hole score of the year
- Antoniadis and Kapur chalked up identical 74-73 cards which place them inside the top half of the field
- Barker fired a perfect par round free of birdies or bogeys to lead Catawba in the morning
- Bonnet rounded out the Catawba Indian stable with a 36-hole 152 including an opening-round 74 that factored into the team score
NOTES
- The Catawba Indians lead Division I squad Florida A&M by one stroke and USC Beaufort by 15; the blue and white are just two shots away from eighth place
- Esnault extended his team lead in under-par rounds for the season to four (in seven tries)
- Barker has recorded a par round in each of the season's first three tournaments
- Entering the 2025-26 season with two under-par rounds in his Catawba career, Carter has doubled his total through just three rounds
