Mars Hill, N.C. —- The 4th-ranked Catawba College women's soccer team moved three points away from clinching at least a share of the South Atlantic Conference Women's Soccer regular season title on Saturday night after earning a 5-0 win over Mars Hill.

- Ali Skinner notched a brace with a pair of goals, her second career multi-goal game
- Reese Robinson added a goal and an assist
- Ella Matthews and Bree Ehmer built on their goal streaks with a score apiece
- Kylie Morin dished out two assists
- Phoebe Serkin, Agnethe Vestergaard and Adriana Ibanez picked up assists of the bench
- Jenni D?hne logged two saves for the clean sheet in goal
HOW IT HAPPENED
FIRST HALF
- Matthews recorded her third game-winner in two weeks with the game's first score in the ninth minute
- Catawba would not find the back of the net again until there were eight seconds remaining in the opening half; Skinner scored off of assists from Serkin and Ibanez to take a 2-0 lead into the half
SECOND HALF
- Morin found Robinson for the first goal of the second half in the 56th minute
- Skinner found the back of the net again in 64th minute following feeds from Robinson and Morin
- Ehmer logged her 13th goal of the season for the final score of the evening on a pass from Vestergaard
