SNOW HILL, N.C. — Connor Carter prevailed in a playoff to bag his first career tournament win, helping lead the No. 10 Catawba College men's golf program to claim the Barton Fall Invitational title at Cutter Creek Golf Club on Tuesday afternoon.
Catawba put together an 886 (+22), highlighted by the field's best first and third rounds, to finish with an 11-shot lead over runner-up Emmanuel. Carter defeated Lavrans Broen Holm (Mount Olive) in a playoff to give Catawba its third individual medalist of the season, each by a different golfer.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Carter rebounded from shooting five-over in the opening round by going 69-72 in the final 36 holes, rising three positions into the No. 1 spot
- Esnault started and finished with even-par rounds, catapulting 10 slots on Tuesday to secure the second podium of his junior year
- Antoniadis shined on the opening day with a 71-72 card en route to a top-10 finish
- Kapur fired a first-round 71 and remained steady in the final 36 holes to post his highest placement of the season
- Bonnet rounded out the Catawba lineup in the top half of the field after registering birdies on the final hole of both the second and third rounds
