Salisbury, N.C. —- The 9th-ranked Catawba College women's tennis team kept the winning ways going, improving to a perfect 12-0 on the season in a 4-0 win over Lincoln Memorial in South Atlantic Conference play at the Johnson Tennis Courts.
HOW IT HAPPENED
DOUBLES
- Sofia Antolini and Rin Igarashi earned a 6-2 win at #2 doubles
- Lilliana Drukerova and Ami Miya helped clinch the doubles point with a 6-4 victory against the top-ranked Railsplitters' duo
SINGLES
- Antolini earned another win at the top-ranked singles position, continuing her undefeated play in 2025
- Miya also picked up a quick win, defeating the #3 LMU opponent 6-0, 6-2
- Anna Wise helped reach clinch point with a 6-2, 6-1 win at #2s
- Drukerova won the opening set 7-6 in a tiebreak and was leading the second 1-0 as the clinch point was reached
- Vaishnavi Venkatesh and Igarashi won the opening set, but was left with an unfinished match
