JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. — The Catawba College men's soccer team takes back-to-back wins into its initial South Atlantic Conference clash at Carson-Newman on Saturday afternoon.
Wednesday Win
- Catawba tossed five goals onto the scoreboard in a home opener rout of Mount Olive on Wednesday afternoon
- Among a four-man stable of scorers, Máté Kenyeres led the way with two goals on the day
- Tomas Kelly distributed the assist on two scores for a multi-point showing, while Juan Camilo had the best of both worlds with one goal and one helper
- Rookie goalkeeper Héctor Vara bagged his second career win between the posts with one save for the Catawba Indians
