New Orleans, La. — Twelve student-athletes from the Catawba College men's and women's cross country teams were selected to the 2025 United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team, the organization announced.
On the women's side,
Madi Clay,
Natalie Almond,
Hannah Caudill,
Eden Barnwell,
Morgan Pollard and
Emer Mcglynn were named to the team.
As for the men,
James Shue,
Seth Caudill,
Will Lyons,
Ian Pierce,
Carson Wells and
Seth Begley were honored with All-Academic recognition.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top 30 percent of their respective regional championship meet, among other qualifiers.
Catawba's women earned their top finish in program history at the NCAA Championships in November with a 17th-place finish.
