Greenwood, Ind. —- Twelve Catawba College Cross Country and Track & Field student-athletes were named to the Academic All-District team, announced by College Sports Communicators on Tuesday afternoon.
 
Seniors Natalie Almond, Madi Clay, Emer Mcglynn, James Shue and Haleigh Washington; juniors Hannah Caudill, Seth Caudill and Ian Pierce; redshirt sophomore Christian Martin and sophomores Sean Bolger, Christopher Brown and Skylar Southern were named CSC Academic All-District selections.
 
The organization recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Each institution is honored with a maximum of five honorees who meet cumulative GPA and participation requirements.
 
Clay advances to CSC Academic All-America consideration, which releases later this summer.
