Newberry, S.C. — With seven hits between both ends of a doubleheader sweep at Newberry, Brianna Gallagher became Catawba Softball's all-time career hits leader on Saturday, surpassing her own head coach Allie Lyerly's 237 career base hits.

- Flynn doubled to lead off the game

- Two walks and a single loaded the bases for Newberry in the second half
- Katie Henri's grand slam helped her own cause to put the Wolves on top, 4-2
SECOND INNING
- Abbey Nixon singled and stole second to lead off the second
- She moved to third on a flyout and scored on Flynn's sac fly
THIRD INNING
- Gallagher singled to lead off the third and Altiers doubled to score her to tie the game at 4
- Newberry scored on three singles to regain the lead in the bottom half
FOURTH INNING
- Flynn singled and stole second in the fourth
- Gallagher scored her on her third hit of the game to tie the game at 5
- Altiers' two-run homer put the Catawba Indians ahead 7-5
- Three singles scored another run for Newberry, cutting their deficit in half
- Haidyn Campbell's two-run single gave the Wolves an 8-7 lead
FIFTH INNING
- A walk loaded the bases for Catawba in the fifth
- Flynn sent a single to center field to tie the game once again
- Monroe sent a single to right to score two runs to go ahead, 10-8
- Gallagher scored two more with her fourth of the hit, leading 12-8
SEVENTH INNING

- McCorkle cranked a three-run homer to left field to regain the lead in the third, 5-3
- Newberry scored on an error in the bottom half to cut the deficit to 5-4
