LENOIR CITY, Tenn. — The Catawba College men's golf team snagged its fifth consecutive podium finish of the season, taking home third place at the Tennessee River Rumble that wrapped up Tuesday afternoon at WindRiver Golf Club.
Catawba posted its third-best score of the season at a four-over-par 868 thanks to their third-round 292 tying Wingate for the lowest team score on Day 2. The fifth-ranked Bulldogs won the team prize with 863 total strokes (-1), leading runner-up Lincoln Memorial by four shots and the Catawba Indians by five.
Wingate's Lewis Beeden shot an 11-under 205 in the tournament to earn first place on the individual leaderboard. Harry Dickins of Lincoln Memorial took runner-up honors while trailing by three strokes, followed by Grand Valley State's Andrew Gwilliams to round out the podium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Bonnet nabbed his second career top-10 finish by going 71-74-73 for a two-over-par performance, highlighted by back-to-back birdies on the 12th and 13th holes in the third round
- Esnault recorded the field's fifth-best third round with a one-under 71, leaping from being tied for 30th to tied for eighth using a Day 2 that consisted of three birdies and two bogeys
- After a pair of doubles to start the back nine on Tuesday, Lockwood steadied with a three-under score across the last seven holes to chalk up a 75
- Kapur registered his third consecutive 73 to close tournament proceedings, using a final-hole birdie to lock himself into a tie for 13th
- Antoniadis concluded the event by going 40-40 on the front and back for an uncharacteristic 80 round, but the sophomore still finished the top third of the field
