Salisbury, N.C. —- The 6th-ranked Catawba College women's tennis team earned at least a share of the South Atlantic Conference women's tennis title on Friday with their win on Senior Day over Anderson at the Johnson Tennis Center.
HOW IT HAPPENED
DOUBLES
- Sofia Antolini and Rin Igarashi cruised to a 6-0 win at #2 doubles
- Lili Drukerova and Ami Miya won 6-2 at top-ranked doubles to clinch the doubles point
SINGLES
- Katya Kldsiashvili earned a 6-2, 6-0 win at #4 singles
- Antolini picked up another victory at the top-ranked singles position, 6-2, 6-1
- Igarashi helped clinch the match with a 6-1, 6-2 win at #5 singles
- Miya led 6-3, 5-0 at the clinch point at #2s
