Sumter, S.C. — The 7th-ranked and top-seeded Catawba College women's tennis team picked up a 4-0 win over eighth-seeded Carson-Newman on Thursday in the South Atlantic Conference Women's Tennis quarterfinal at the Palmetto Tennis Center.

DOUBLES
- Tina Gomes and Agata Budnik earned a 6-3 win at #3s
- Ami Miya and Lili Drukerova clinched the doubles point with a 6-2 victory in the top-ranked doubles flight
- Sofia Antolini and Rin Igarashi led 5-4 at second-ranked doubles at the time of the clinch
SINGLES
- Drukerova won the opening singles match with a 6-2, 6-1 win at the third-ranked singles position
- Igarashi followed with a 6-1, 6-1 win at #5s
- Katya Kldiashvili clinched the match with a 6-2, 6-1 victory at the #4s court
- Budnik was at match point, leading 6-2, 5-2 at the clinch point
- Hanna Bougouffa led 6-3, 2-2 at the top-ranked court and Miya led 6-1, 2-1 at #2s
