Salisbury, N.C. — Catawba College junior Brandon Crabtree drew a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the 11th inning to walk off Catawba Baseball's 5-4 win over regionally ranked Belmont Abbey in a non-conference showdown of 2025's Southeast Regional hosts at Newman Park.

HOW IT HAPPENED
FIRST INNING
- Atkins' two-run homer in the first gave Catawba the early lead
FIFTH INNING
- Belmont Abbey walked and singled to lead off the fifth
- Joe Whitaker's three-run homer gave the Crusaders the lead
SEVENTH INNING
- A two-out walk and a single allowed Belmont Abbey to tack on a run on a wild pitch
- Malachi Cloud walked before stealing second and third and scoring on Nathan Chrismon's RBI groundout
EIGHTH INNING
- Dunlap doubled down the left field line with two outs in the eighth
- Ty Hubbard's clutch single the other way tied the game at four
ELEVENTH INNING
- Dunlap tripled to deep right-center to lead off the bottom of the eleventh
- After the Crusaders made two outs that kept Dunlap at third, Crabtree drew the bases-loaded walk to give Catawba the midweek win
