Salisbury, N.C. —- The seventh-ranked and top-seeded Catawba College men's tennis team bounced back from losing the doubles point to take the next four singles match finishes to earn a win in its NCAA Tournament opener over 39th-ranked and 8th-seeded Mount Olive at the Johnson Tennis Center.

- Mount Olive earned wins at #2s and #3s to earn the doubles point
SINGLES
- Luca Bergonzi picked up a quick 6-3, 6-1 win at #4 singles to tie the match
- Agustin Mastri added a win at the top-ranked spot, 6-2, 6-1
- Alessandro Valletta moved Catawba to a point away from the second round with a 6-4, 6-4 win at #6 singles
- Mateo Berne clinched the match with a 6-2, 6-4 win at #3s
