Brian Collins enters his third season as Offensive Line Coach at Catawba College in the fall of 2025.

During the 2024 season, Collins instructed an offensive line unit that was vastly improved from the previous season, helping the team rank second in the SAC and top 25 in the country despite suffering multiple injuries in impact positions. Additionally, the unit helped Catawba rank sixth in the country in tackles for loss allowed, the 20th-ranked rushing attack in the nation while finishing third in the SAC in sacks allowed and time of possession. Avery Swinton and Kanyon James were named to the SAC's All-Conference team, while Dallas Foard added All-Piedmont Division honors. The unit paved the way for LJ Turner, who burst out for a single-season program record 1,224 rushing yards in just eight games to earn AFCA Second Team All-America recognition.

In his first season in 2023, Collins coach All-Division center Cameron Ivy-Young, as the offensive line helped boost the offense's scoring average over six points per game from 2022 to '23.

Collins joined the Catawba staff in 2023 following three seasons at Division III Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisc. as their Offensive Line Coach and Recruiting Cooordinator. While at Carthage, Collins coordinated the run game and the offensive line position group. In his time with the Firebirds, Collins coached one First Team All-Conference offensive lineman in 2021.

Prior to Carthage, Collins spent one season as the offensive line graduate assistant at Division I Western Michigan University, finishing 7-6 and making an appearance in the First Responder Bowl. The Broncos finished third in the MAC with 31.8 points per game, led by conference Player of the Year RB Levante Bellamy and three all-conference offensive lineman who are now playing in the NFL.

Collins came to Kalamazoo following two seasons as a position coach for tight ends, full backs and defensive lineman as well as the Recruiting Coordinator at NAIA Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa. In 2018, all three starting defensive lineman for the Chargers were named all-conference. Collins also led the kickoff return unit, which ranked first in the country with 1,384 kickoff return yards.

As a player, Collins was a four-year starting center at Division II Saint Joseph's College in Rensselaer, Ind. Collins was named the team captain as a senior for the 2016 season, the same year he earned all-conference honors. In addition to his success on the playing field, Collins was a four-time Academic All-Conference selection.
