Played and started in the team's first four games of the season before suffering a season-ending injury in the home loss to Carson-Newman on Sept. 28 ... Managed to lead the team in passing for the season, completing 84 of 116 (72 percent) of passes for 1,019 yards and 10 touchdowns, with both led the SAC through the first five weeks of the season ... Limited interceptions to just two in 116 pass attempts, good for a 171.2 passing efficiency rating ... Added 14 rushing yards with two fumbles lost ... Threw for 181 yards and two touchdowns in the season-opener at Davidson ... Ranked second in the SAC in passing yards and passing touchdowns ... Threw for 203 yards and three touchdowns in the season-opening win at Elizabeth City State ... Broke a school record with six touchdown passes as part of a 24-for-30, 372-yard effort in the Mayors' Cup win over Livingstone on Sept. 9, earning him SAC Player of the Week as well as D2Football.com National Player of the Week, sporting a 9-0 TD-Int ratio after just two weeks ... Threw three more touchdowns vs. Mars Hill on Sept. 16 ... Recorded his fourth straight 300-yard effort on a season-high 31 completions in the loss at Tusculum on Sept. 23 ...
