Catawba College

Dave Marcincavage enters his third season as Director of Goalkeeping at Catawba College in the 2025 season.

During the 2024 season, Catawba led the SAC in goals allowed, conceding just four goals in conference play while boasting one of the top defenses in the country. Their 10 clean sheets ranked tops in the league, which included the Catawba Indians' 3-0 win over Flagler in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament, while keeping eventual National Player of the Year Andrea Fernandez scoreless on just two shots on goal.

A standout goalkeeper for the Catawba Men's Soccer team, Marcincavage was a First Team All-SAC selection and All-Region performer in the 1991 season, when he recorded 10 shutouts, the most in a single season in Catawba Men's Soccer history. Marcincavage ranks seccond among all goalkeepers in Catawba men's soccer history in minutes played, while his 0.62 career goals-against average ranks best all-time in program history.

Dave's daughter, Emily, played for the Catawba women until her graduation in 2021.
