#8 Women’s Soccer pushes win streak to five with road win over E&H

Emory, Va. —- The 8th-ranked Catawba College women's soccer team remained undefeated and extended its active win streak to five games with four second-half goals en route to a 4-0 win at Emory & Henry in South Atlantic Conference women's soccer action on Sunday afternoon.

TEAM STATISTICS

- Catawba out-shot Emory & Henry 21-1

- The Catawba Indians recorded all 11 shots on goal in the contest

- Catawba had nine of the 14 corner kicks in the match

- The Catawba Indians were called for 10 fouls to eight for E&H; the Wasps received both yellow cards in the match

INDIVIDUAL LEADERS

- Kylie Morin logged a goal and an assist

- Ella Matthews recorded her second game-winner of the week

- Morgan Delair and Ali Skinner added scores in the win

- Maria Rayburn provided an assist

- Jenni Dähne earned another clean sheet, but did not see a shot on goal

HOW IT HAPPENED

FIRST HALF

- Catawba tested the Emory & Henry keeper early with a shot on goal in the second minute

- Reese Robinson's shot at the end of the half hit the right post

- Despite leading in shots 8-0, Catawba and E&H entered the half with no score

SECOND HALF

- Matthews broke through for the game-winner in the 51st minute

- Skinner scored off a feed from Morin to double the lead in the 58th minute

- Delair added her eighth goal of the season in the 

- Rayburn found Morin for a score just over 40 seconds later as Catawba extended the lead to four
