Salisbury, N.C. — The 4th-ranked Catawba College women's soccer returns to Frock Field for the first time in 11 days on Wednesday night, bringing back an active five-game win streak to face North Greenville in non-conference action at Frock Field.

- Junior midfielder Ella Matthews earned WePlayed Sports SAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week honors after recording two second-half game-winners in the Catawba Indians' 2-0 week
- The Huntersville, N.C. native fired the game-winner at 4th-ranked North Georgia for Catawba's 1-0 win with just 14 seconds remaining
- She added another game-winner in the second-half of the rainy win over Emory & Henry on Sunday
 
NEW HEIGHTS
- Catawba reached a number four ranking in Tuesday's United Soccer Coaches national poll
- The Catawba Indians have reached the top five in two of the past three seasons; the team had an 8-week stretch ranked fourth or higher in 2023
- Catawba remained undefeated through the second week of October in both seasons
 
TOP OFFENSE - AGAIN
- Once again, Catawba boasts one of the top offenses in the country, ranking fifth in the nation in total goals and seventh in scoring offense
- Bree Ehmer and Morgan Delair rank second and third, respectively, in the SAC in goals scored this year with nine and eight
- The pair are both tied for first with one other athlete for the most points in the league with 21
- Just like in 2024, Catawba leads the SAC with 41 goals – eight clear of the next highest scoring team – and tied for the league-low in goals allowed with just seven allowed on the season, tied with Coker and Anderson
 
SCOUTING THE CRUSADERS
- North Greenville returns to The Frock for the first time since the 2023 season, when then-11th-ranked Women's Soccer defeated NGU 4-0 en route to their winningest season in program history
- The Crusaders enter Wednesday's game just 1-6-2 away from Tigerville with a loss in their lone matchup with a SAC team, 4-1 at Carson-Newman
- NGU ranks third in Conference Carolinas and top 25 in the country in shot accuracy
