ANDERSON, S.C. — The Catawba College women's volleyball team dropped a 3-1 result to Anderson in midweek South Atlantic Conference action at Abney Athletic Center on Thursday evening.
TEAM STATS
- The Catawba Indians (8-10, 5-8 SAC) registered a flat .000 hitting percentage to rival the Trojans (16-5, 11-2 SAC) who hit .240
- Anderson led 8-5 in service aces, but the hosts also sent more serves out of play by an 8-3 differential
- Catawba was out-blocked 13-6 but recorded its most solo stops (5) since the season opener
- The blue and white bested Anderson in the digs department with a 57-51 advantage
INDIVIDUAL STATS
- Jordan Duzenack was the visitors' most effective hitter with a career-high 10 kills on 24 swings
- Sofia Beard stacked up a team-best 11 darts as Lillie Kate Rogers had nine kills and 12 digs, falling one blast shy of a double-double
- Tamie Boudot led the way in assists with 22 dimes, chipping in a kill and five digs
- Haley Moffett contributed two service aces, 10 assists and five digs
- On defense, Riley Hill turned in 24 digs and dished out a pair of assists with an ace
- Annica Kagle paced Catawba at the net with three blocks (two solo) as Martina Foster and Sydney Wattles chalked up two apiece
