SALISBURY, N.C. — The Catawba College women's volleyball team surrendered a 3-0 defeat against Carson-Newman at Goodman Arena on Saturday afternoon.

TEAM STATS
- Catawba (8-11, 5-9 SAC) hit .133 in the loss, while Carson-Newman (19-4, 10-4 SAC) was just a touch better at .185
- The Eagles delivered more aces by a 9-4 difference and had one fewer service error (8-7)
- The Catawba Indians slightly trailed Carson-Newman in the blocking department, making four stops against the Eagles' five
- The hosts notched exactly 61 digs for the fourth time this season while C-N collected 65 digs

INDIVIDUAL STATS
- Jordan Duzenack led the offense with eight kills, followed by Martina Foster and Lillie Kate Rogers with seven blasts apiece
- Four different Catawba Indians recorded a service ace
- Tamie Boudot tallied 16 assists with six digs as her setting mate Haley Moffett was closer to a double-double at 12 dimes and nine digs
- Foster topped the defensive corps with three blocks as Annica Kagle also made multiple stops, chipping in a pair
- Riley Hill managed 16 digs with Rogers a close second at 12

Catawba makes the trip an hour west to Lenoir-Rhyne on Tuesday, Nov. 4, for a 7 p.m. tilt at Shuford Arena.
