Salisbury, N.C. —- In a matchup of the final two teams without a loss in South Atlantic Conference Women's Soccer play in 2025, the 8th-ranked Catawba Women's Soccer team pulled out a 1-0 victory over Anderson at Frock Field for the team's annual Breast Cancer Awareness Game.

INDIVIDUAL LEADERS
- Bree Ehmer scored the game-winner in the 55th minute
- Morgan Delair recorded the assist on the game-winning goal
- Jenni Dähne recorded two saves in the clean sheet

HOW IT HAPPENED
FIRST HALF
- Anderson tallied the first shot on goal of the contest in the 10th minute, but Dähne made the save
- Catawba's best chance in the first half came on a corner kick, but Skinner's header was saved by the Trojan keeper
SECOND HALF
- Delair broke free down the right side in the 55th minute and played a nice feed to Ehmer, who finished it off for the score with the outside of her right foot for the eventual winner
- The Trojans responded with a threatening try for goal in the 60th minute, but Dähne made the stop; it would be AU's final shot on goal of the match
- Matthews' try for goal and insurance in the 64th minute was saved
- Anderson possessed the ball for much of the late-game, but Catawba kept the Trojans from threatening; Anderson's final shot sailed high in the closing seconds
