Wingate, N.C. — The 8th-ranked Catawba College women's soccer team continues a difficult stretch of their South Atlantic Conference schedule on Wednesday when it travels to defending league regular season champion Wingate for a 6 p.m. start.

BALLIN' BREE
- Junior forward
Bree Ehmer has been on an offensive tear this season, ranking second in the SAC with eight goals while riding a four-game scoring streak
- The Melbourne, Fla. native has recorded points in every game this season except the 8-1 win over Mount Olive when she only played 38 minutes
- Ehmer netted her 30th career goal in her 50th career game; her next goal would tie her for eighth on the program's all-time scoring list
1-2 PUNCH
- The Catawba Indians have been led offensively by the upperclassmen duo of Ehmer and
Morgan Delair, who rank in a tie for first and a tie for third in the SAC points list
- Delair, a senior from Kannapolis, N.C., has broken out in her senior campaign, nearly scoring as many goals through nine games of her senior season as she had in her first three years with the team
- Either Delair of Ehmer has netted a goal in each of Catawba's nine games to this point
ALONE AT THE TOP
- Despite Lenoir-Rhyne currently leading the SAC table with 12 points, the Bears have an extra game played compared to the Catawba Indians; Catawba is the lone team remaining in the SAC without a loss in conference play
- Catawba also ranks first in the SAC in a number of statistical categories: scoring offense (3.00), goals-against-average (0.44), corner kicks per game (6.89), total points (72) and win-lost-tied percentage (.889)
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
- The Bulldogs have suffered three one-goal losses to this point – 3-4 to now-5th-ranked North Georgia, at Tusculum and at home to defending SAC Tournament champion Lenoir-Rhyne
- Sophomore Ellie Polk has enjoyed a breakout season as a sophomore, ranking fifth in the league with 13 points this season (5 goals, 3 assists)
- Freshman Tilde Wahrenberg was named the WePlayed Sports SAC Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday after scoring three goals across a pair of Wingate victories over Tusculum and Lincoln Memorial
