Salisbury, N.C. — The third-ranked Catawba College women's soccer team faces Lenoir-Rhyne with the winner taking the South Atlantic Conference regular season championship for the fourth consecutive season on Wednesday at Frock Field.

- Wednesday marks the fourth consecutive year Lenoir-Rhyne and Catawba have met in the regular season finale where the winner claims the South Atlantic Conference regular season championship
- The Bears earned wins in 2022 and '23, while the teams played to a last-second draw in 2024, allowing Wingate to take the regular season crown
- Catawba is looking to earn its first win over Lenoir-Rhyne since the 2021 season, when they defeated LR 2-0 in Hickory en route to a sweep of the regular season and tournament crowns

- Catawba leads the league by a wide margin in total goals over the course of the entire season with 51, good for seventh nationally, and also leads the SAC in total goals-against-average with 0.438 allowed per game, good for tenth in the country
- Catawba ranks first in the most recent United Soccer Coaches Southeast Region poll; LR ranks fifth
 
SCOUTING THE BEARS
- Lenoir-Rhyne is searching for its fourth SAC regular season title in the last seven seasons
- Katie Durham ranks third in the league in points and tied for second with seven assists this season
- The Bears will be without head coach Justin Maullin for the game as he serves a one-game suspension for yellow card accumulation; Holly Zador will serve as the team's acting head coach
