Cross Country unveils 2025 schedule

Salisbury, N.C. —- The Catawba College men's and women's cross country teams revealed their 2025 schedule, which includes eight meets through the 11-week fall season, head cross country and track and field coach Jason Bryan announced Tuesday.

"We are looking forward to this upcoming season with a lot of excitement," Bryan said. "There is a lot of experienced leadership back with several talented freshmen coming on board. I know they are all ready to get to work this fall!"

Catawba is coming off of its fourth consecutive season of sending a team to the Division II National Championships after the women finished a program-record 21st in the 2024 national meet in Sacramento.

The Catawba Indians will kick off its 2025 season with the annual Fleet Feet Invite at the Salisbury Community Park on Sept. 6. The team closes the month of September with tournament previews with the Bulldog Stampede – regional preview – in Wingate on Sept. 20 followed by the Tusculum Invitational – SAC preview – on Sept. 27.

The teams will then head to Louisville in the first week of October for the Swag Louisville Classic on Oct. 4 before the the Queens Royals Challenge in Charlotte the following week on the 10th.

Postseason play begins on Saturday, Oct. 25 at the South Atlantic Conference Championships hosted by Tusculum ahead of the NCAA Southeast Regional in Wingate, N.C. on Nov. 8.

The season concludes with the NCAA National Championships on Saturday, Nov. 22 in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
