Greenwood, Ind. — The Catawba College Football team had eight student-athletes named to the College Sports Communicators' Academic All-District team, the organization announced Tuesday afternoon.

Dru Dotter and
Dallas Foard, senior
Rickey Jones, redshirt junior
Luke Raykovicz, junior
Jaylen Hinton and redshirt sophomores
Gavin Moore and
Kyle Perry earned the honor, bestowed upon a maximum of eight student-athletes per football program who earned at least a 3.5 cumulative grade-point average and met participation requirements set by CSC.
The group, highlighted by South Atlantic Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year
Preston Brown, led the Catawba Indians both on the field and in the classroom in 2025, helping the team to a four-win improvement from 2024 en route to an undefeated mark at home and a fourth-place finish in the SAC standings.
Foard, Jones, Moore and Perry are repeat honorees, having been named to the Academic All-District Team in 2024.
Brown will advance to Academic All-America consideration, which will be announced on Jan. 27.
