ROCK HILL, S.C. —- The Catawba College women's soccer program swept the South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports weekly awards as Cadence Setzer was named Offensive Player of the Week and Lauren Zitt earned Defensive Player of the Week honors, per the league's Monday announcement.

Setzer contributed to both of the Catawba Indians' game-winning goals in last week's 2-0 performance. The sophomore forward delivered a smooth cross into the box for Kennedy McGuire to one-time it in, marking the deciding strike in a 1-0 victory over Lenoir-Rhyne. Setzer's heroics continued at Lincoln Memorial on Saturday when she took a broken-up Railsplitter corner kick and took it coast-to-coast for Catawba's second goal in the 3-1 triumph.

Zitt made 12 saves on 13 shots faced in the pair of road matches, helping defeat two top-half squads in the conference. She headlined Wednesday's battle with the Lions by posting a career-high nine saves, highlighted by a penalty kick save in the second half. The Apex, N.C., product followed it up with a 3-for-4 day at LMU to extend her streak of allowing one or fewer goals to six matches.

Thanks to her eighth assist of the year on Wednesday, Setzer is in sole possession of the SAC lead and stands 11th nationwide on a per-match basis (0.62). Zitt picked up her league-leading fifth clean sheet of the year against Lenoir-Rhyne and slots third in the conference with a 1.10 goals-against average.

The Catawba Indians are back in action this weekend at home against Flagler on Saturday, Oct. 17. The non-conference tilt is scheduled for a noon start.
